Founded in 1989 by the current Managing Director, Barwick began trading as Barwick Electrical Services Ltd, carrying out all types of electrical works with a particular focus in the commercial, industrial and retail sectors. In 2003, due to the restructuring of our senior management, the company was rebranded to Barwick Electrical (Leeds) Ltd, continuing to serve our existing client base, from our original premises in Leeds.

In 1992, Barwick Contracting Services Ltd was formed, to provide a full building maintenance and small works package to our existing and new clients. Since then, both companies have grown and work together within the same premises to provide a bespoke and full-building repair solution. The partnership between Barwick Electrical and Barwick Contracting inspired the creation of newest member of the group; Barwick Facilities Maintenance.

Barwick Facilities Maintenance encompasses all the services of the two original Barwick companies, to offer clients the highest quality comprehensive maintenance and repair service, with a Rapid Response Team, through one point of contact. The Barwick group prides itself on delivering impeccable customer service, therefore employs a versatile range of skilled tradesmen, who were handpicked for their experience and dedication to their trade.

Over 40 Years of experience in the electrical contracting and building industry within the commercial, retail and industrial sectors. With a hands on approach in managing all aspects of the business and working in close co-ordination with our Contracts Managers.

Jamie Sanders | Contracts Director, Barwick Electrical

Jamie completed his apprenticeship with Barwick in 1999, progressing within the company to the position of Contracts Director. His site based knowledge and experience, is invaluable in his duty coordinating and managing our team of engineers.

Georgina Bean | Reactive Maintenance Coordinator

Georgina manages our in house help desk; coordinates and monitors the reactive maintenance works ensuring service level agreements are adhered to and our clients are kept informed, ultimately striving to achieve total customer satisfaction.

Mark Lyne | Building Contracts Manager

Mark started with Barwick in 1990 as a fully qualified joiner. He has been a valuable member of the team moving through the ranks over the years.
He is now managing day to day workload of our building maintenance team to ensure that we deliver projects on time, within budget and ensuring a high quality standard of works are carried out and in a professional manner.

Kath O’Connor | Office Manager

Joining the Barwick Team in 2010, Kath manages our HR function, credit control and purchase ledger along with the day to day management of the office. With extensive knowledge and experience in quality, environmental and business management Kath provides fundamental support for all our business needs.
